Book #2 from the series: Verdicts and Vindication

The Jersey: A Story of Loss and Redemption (Verdicts and Vindication)

About

Epic Courtroom Drama. Intense Family Drama
Problems dog Dan West. He must defend his long-time friend accused of stealing money from the company he started. He also has to figure out how to motivate his eleven-year-old son’s soccer team, a gang of misfits, accustomed to losing.:

He has a simple view of life—help your friends when they need it and support your family at every turn. Tragedy rips apart his view of the world, yet he still has to take on slimy lawyers and teach the boys to play with passion.

James Rosenberg, author of bestsellers Legal Reserves and Unclean Hands, strikes a new chord in this sprawling exploration of what makes a life and how to put it back together after it is shattered. The Jersey is a beautifully written, profoundly touching, and relatable story of love, loss and the redemptive power of a group of motivated eleven-year-old kids.

Praise for this book

I do t even know how to write a fitting review for this novel except it's wonderful, touching and brought out many emotions for me.

Jim Rosenberg balances an incredible trifecta with this deeply personal story: a dad trying to coach his son's soccer team to the championship - a lawyer trying to bring justice for his close friend - and a heart-wrenching journey toward overcoming terrible grief . . . Yes, I am biased (because I narrated the audiobook). But I also connected directly to the warmth, love, laughter - and yes, many tears - that fill this incredibly HUMAN story. Highly recommended for any deep thinkers and deep feelers out there !!!

I enjoyed The Jersey. Both emotional and heartwarming story of a Pittsburgh Lawyer who faces unspeakable tragedy and heartache. He journeys through the stages of grief and ultimately finds solace through what he lost. A great read.
